Yandex Lavka is a dark-store rapid grocery delivery service with over 6M monthly active users and more than 1M weekly deliveries. By 2023, as the service continued to grow rapidly, it became essential for the brand to evolve and establish a consistent, fully developed identity. The refreshed branding captures everyday moments of love for life through the simple things that Yandex Lavka can deliver in just 15 minutes. As part of the rebrand, a comprehensive brand book was created, defining the rules for applying the visual style across the app, OOH, animation, commercials, and courier uniforms.
The primary symbol of the brand is the heart, the essence of the updated identity. It represents a love for life, attention to small details, and being present in every moment. Another important component of the visual system is the set of graphic patterns used across communications, set design for photoshoots. The bright, sunlit photography style is also central to the brand, highlighting those very everyday moments.
As part of the rebrand, a new illustration style was developed to support the updated brand. The illustration language reinforces the brand’s human warmth while maintaining a contemporary, modern character.
